What will you learn on a beginner tattoo artist course?

Day 1: General theory

• Machines and equipment: How to choose and use tattoo machines and needles correctly.
• Hygiene and safety: Essential rules for sterile, professional work.
• Stencil: Tips and techniques for precise transfers onto skin.

Exercises: Creating and applying stencils, tailored to each student’s level.

Days 2–3: Round liner and round shader

• Round Liner: Precise lines, dot technique (Dot Work), and fine detail.
• Round Shader: Flowing lines, Whip Shading, Brush Shading and solid black fills.

Exercises: The course uses high-quality synthetic skin for realistic practice. Regular feedback helps you correct and refine each technique.

Day 4: Magnum and round magnum

• Refining shading and fills: Smooth transitions and effective coverage on larger areas.
• Whip Shading and Brush Shading for natural textures.

Exercises: Techniques applied to complex designs with careful guidance from trainers.

Day 5: The “3RL Only” technique

• The single-configuration challenge: Creating semi-realistic, complex designs using only a 3RL needle configuration.
• Advanced stencils: Techniques for an accurate transfer and its integration into a complete design.

Exercises: Complex designs that test your creativity and control, with individual guidance.

Day 6: Introduction to colour and realism

• Colour: Choosing a palette, applying colour and creating smooth transitions.
• Realism: Dilutions Grey Wash and shading for three-dimensional effects.

Exercises: Work on premium synthetic skin, experimenting with realistic colour and shading under direct trainer supervision.

Day 7: Review and preparation for real models

• Combining techniques: Creating a complete design using the techniques you have learned.
• Preparing to tattoo real skin: Equipment setup, strict hygiene and client communication.

Exercises: Final preparation for real tattoos, focusing on refinement and resolving mistakes.

Days 8–10: Practice on real models

• Tattooing real skin during the beginner course: A complete practical application on real models in studio conditions.
• Individual feedback: Trainers guide you step by step and offer practical solutions to challenges.
