Accredited course groups
Choose a group only if you can attend the full programme. Daytime and evening groups follow different schedules, but both last two weeks and require commitment.

Evening group: Monday–Friday, 17:30–21:30, plus both weekends, 11:00–18:00.

From beginner to accredited tattoo artist
The programme starts with the foundations of the profession and progresses through technical exercises, controlled work, feedback and supervised practice.
The course progresses through hygiene, workstation setup, line work, shading, colour, the foundations of realism and supervised practice on a model.
The main tattoo artist course is the Academy’s accredited programme. The authorisation document is displayed on this page for transparency.
Materials used during the course are provided according to the programme communicated for each group.
Synthetic-skin exercises build hand control, working rhythm and technical understanding before advanced stages.
Practice on a real model takes place under supervision, at the appropriate stage, after the necessary preparation.
Each stage includes practical observations, corrections and explanations so progress can be assessed in practice, not only in theory.

After graduation
The opportunity to continue as a studio collaborator
After completing the accredited course, graduates can rent a workstation in the studio to work as tattoo artists. A fixed monthly rent applies, with no commission on tattoos.
An accessible option for students who completed their course at Badass Tattoo Academy.
Work takes place in the Badass Tattoo studios in Bucharest and Constanța, in accordance with applicable legislation.
This develops gradually, with visible progress after each tattoo.
You will work around professional tattoo artists and colleagues who trained alongside you.
Course structure
From an ambition to a tattoo on a real model
Training progresses through clear exercises, practical corrections and increasingly demanding stages. Groups are organised in Bucharest, Constanța and Timișoara according to the published calendar; Timișoara courses begin in 2027.
Machines, needles, consumables, hygiene, safety, workstation setup and stencil preparation.
Line work, detail, dot work, brush shading and technical control on synthetic skin.
Shading, coverage, smooth transitions, natural textures and work on larger areas.
Semi-realistic designs made with a single needle configuration, advanced stencils, precision and patience.
Colour palettes, dilution, shadows, volume, contrast and the visual decisions that create depth.
Technique checks, final setup, model preparation and clarification of the working stages.
Practical work in a real studio, with step-by-step guidance, individual feedback and attention to hygiene, rhythm and control.
